After Bless This Mess, her first group piece cre­ated in 2024, Kater­ina Andreou teams up with Mélissa Guex again for a duet which res­on­ates with and chan­nels the energy of scream­ing and shouting.

Instead of shout­ing sep­ar­ately, both cho­reo­graph­ers work to bring their voices togeth­er so that they carry fur­ther and their scream becomes con­ta­gious. SHOUT TWICE thus con­verts com­plex emo­tions into a source of pure energy: cho­reo­graphy becomes a tool for trans­form­ing a cry of pain into a cry of joy and turn­ing objec­tion into an act of strength and cre­ation. To achieve this, the piece relies on a sys­tem of impro­visa­tion­al relay, where one responds to the oth­er in a con­stant exchange, seek­ing not to mul­tiply ges­tures but rather to amp­li­fy the force of each move­ment. In a per­form­ance struc­tured like a con­cert – a jux­ta­pos­i­tion of moments of intens­ity where the energy adapts to the ven­ue and the audi­ence – Kater­ina Andreou and Mélissa Guex play on the inter­ac­tion between dance and music to explore the capa­city of sound to pro­voke an imme­di­ate sens­ory impact.
