Red Horizon

Red Hori­zon con­sists of 15 double pen­du­lums com­posed of a white light and a small loud­speak­er that move accord­ing to the unpre­dict­ab­il­ity of the mech­an­ism. The ensemble forms a field of visu­al and sound particles, hyp­not­ic and cap­tiv­at­ing, play­ing on the vari­ations of sound and ret­in­al per­sist­ence in space. From simple rules, the sys­tem reveals a com­plex over­all behaviour.
