Roundtable: “Art as a tool to create collaborative communities”

Interdisciplinary projects

As part of the Lithuani­an Sea­son in France, the Caen CCN is organ­iz­ing a roundtable entitled “Art as a tool to cre­ate col­lab­or­at­ive com­munit­ies”, where we will dis­cuss what it means to cre­ate and solid­i­fy part­ner­ships between artists and com­munit­ies to real­ize com­mon pro­jects, exper­i­ence com­mon events and share com­mun­al spaces. How can per­son­al and col­lect­ive accom­plish­ment be com­bined with a cre­at­ive pro­cess? How can we build a true part­ner­ship which requires time and the shar­ing of mutu­al exper­i­ences? How can we con­tin­ue to think glob­ally while work­ing on “loc­ally rel­ev­ant” projects?
